How We Work

How we work

When we get a call out, we will qualify that call and allocate a time slot and a mechanic to it. Depending on the job, we can either go out on site and fix or maintain it or alternatively we can arrange transport back to the workshop. All the fitters have their own tablet at each job including parts used, work carried out and time spent working. There is a copy of all job cards for each machine kept on a separate file that can be accessed at any time.

We also like to advise customers of any foreseeable problems or issues we see and make a plan with them to have these repairs carried out at a time that suits them. We find this to be great in preventing breakdowns & down time for the customer’s machines.

Service

We employ local lads. We tend to work within a 40 mile radius of our yard, simply because we can get to the job quickly. Once we have solved a problem for a customer we tend to move into a service contract with them. We know that prevention is always better than the cure for everyone so we keep a record of their machinery and the work completed and advise on a service schedule in order to prevent breakdowns or serious mechanical failures.

Maintenance Plans

We have clients on maintenance plans. This means that on an annual basis we create a maintenance budget along with the client to cover the cost of any ongoing service. This works well for our clients who have millions of Euros in machinery and need to make sure they are compliant as well as getting the best performance from their plant.

Payments

For clients on contract we issue monthly invoices. For one off jobs, we require full payment on completion of the job, and for purchases of machinery, we take receipt of full payment before the vehicle can leave our premises. We accept credit card, cheque and bank transfer.
